Rachael Sands BCaBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
After 17 years of teaching and exploring the backcountry in Colorado on her horse, mountain bike and skies, Rachael moved to Maui in 2016 to be closer to family and the ocean. While on Maui, Rachael has worked in early intervention and special education with an emphasis in autism consultation and Human Services work in the DOE.
In 2019, Rachael followed her passion for ABA and completed her training and became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She feels honored to have the opportunity to work at Kuleana Care with such a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young adults with autism in our community every day.
When not working with our amazing clients, you will find her surfing the north shore or in her garden.
